
Victoria is a committed and empathetic advocate who helps clients navigate complex and sensitive workplace issues with clarity and confidence. She joined Mathers McHenry & Co. from an employment and labour law boutique, where she developed a strong practice in both litigation and advisory work, having represented clients in a wide range of employment and human rights matters.
Victoria’s practice focuses on advising both employers and employees on wrongful and constructive dismissals, workplace harassment and discrimination, workplace accommodations, and other employment matters. She also counsels employers on day-to-day concerns, including drafting and updating employment agreements, developing workplace policies, investigations, and responding to employee complaints.
Clients value Victoria’s calm, thoughtful approach and her ability to offer practical legal advice that aligns with their broader goals. She takes the time to understand each client’s unique circumstances and works to deliver clear, strategic solutions, whether that means resolving a matter efficiently outside of litigation or advocating assertively when necessary.
Victoria earned her law degree from Dalhousie University, where she completed a Certificate in Business Law and competed in the national tax law moot.
Victoria has appeared before various courts and administrative bodies, including the Superior Court of Justice and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
